What is it?
Fez Mangal is a mediterranean and Turkish grill located in Ladbroke Grove. Unlike a lot of grill/kebab joints, Fez Mangal looks swish, it’s nicely decorated both inside and out making it ideal for many occasions. The exposed brick work and the open grill really adds to the lively atmosphere.
What should you get?
To begin we recommend the mixed meze for 2 (£6.50) which consists of bread and tasty dips of hummus, tabule, babaganoush and cacik. You come to Fez Mangal for the mixed meat grills. They offer everything from lamb, chicken and mixed doners to chop, shish and combinations of other things from the BBQ.
The kebabs here are epic, so if you’re undecided on which meat to choose, they do a mixed mixed kebab (£13.50) of lamb shish, chicken shish & adana (minced lamb kebab) which should hit the spot for those who want a bit of everything. For vegetarians there is falafel on the menu as well as veggie kebabs and halloumi wraps. The menu even shows the amount of calories, protein, carbs & fat per dish – handy for those watching their intake.
It’s easy to get to, located just round the corner from Ladbroke Grove station, there’s no corkage fee and they accept card. Win/Win/Win.
